Overview
Good library habits, bear poetry, dinosaur rap, sleuthing out mystery stories with Detective Eekers, writing and illustrating original stories, and producing an original play (including puppets) before an audience—these are examples of the activities that could be a part of your Saturday, or summer, or special children’s program. Designed to bring children, books and libraries together happily, here are five programs, each with activities relating to its central theme: story time, library time, games, crafts, music, snacks and an original play. Each program has a presentation especially suited for grades 1–4 followed by an adapted format to meet the needs of preschoolers and kindergarteners. Original art and music are included with some programs.Book Details
