Author Biography: About the Editor: Michael Dewe, also editor of the previous two-volume Local Studies Collections guides published by Gower, has extensive experience at senior level in public libraries and latterly as university lecturer in the Department of Information and Library Studies at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
