Early Spanish readers will read about the necessity of homes and the different styles found throughout the world in this title, a part of the "Yellow Umbrella Book" social science series. The friendly, color photographs and simple text will enable emerging readers to practice and learn about dwellings. The book begins with an introduction explaining what a home is. The chapter that follows explains how homes are built from the materials at hand. Then a chapter is presented about how some homes are transportable. On the last page readers will be asked to describe their home. The end of the book includes a glossary with a page number for each word's location in the book.
