About the Author, John Rizzo

John Rizzo (San Francisco, CA) bought his first Mac in 1984, and soon began writing about them. A former staff editor for MacUser magazine, John now writes about Mac hardware and software for CNET.com and for Mac magazines. His books include the How the Mac Works series, Mac Annoyances, Mac Toys, and Macintosh Windows Integration. John also publishes MacWindows.com, a web site devoted to helping Macs get along in a Windows world. John promotes his books on this site, which has about 600,000 visitors a year.
