Sex therapist McCarthy here updates his What You Still Don't Know About Male Sexuality ( 1977). Pleasure is emphasized rather than performance and orgasm, and both the single and married male in multifaceted relationships are addressed. Using case studies, etc., McCarthy covers specific sexual behaviors, birth control, fathering, sex and aging, sexually transmitted diseases, homosexuality, etc. Sexual acts are described in slang and technical terms (occasionally undefined) and illustrated with usually superfluous drawings.
