Library Journal
Marbling is a fascinating technique because the results are different every time, and they are always lovely. This book describes the easiest setup for marbling projects using acrylic paints. Containers and materials are described and a pattern chart is included. The troubleshooting section is quite useful. Projects are mostly for smaller items such as cards and bookplates that do not require a large tank of marbling solution. This does not include the advanced techniques found in Diane Maurer-Mathison's The Ultimate Marbling Handbook, but as a guide for beginners it is very useful. A good selection for public library crafts collections. Copyright 2002 Cahners Business Information.Book Details
