About the Author, Peter Lewis

Peter Lewis has been involved with martial arts for more than 25 years. Having become a black belt in Wado-ryu Karate, he switched to kung fu. He has written several books, including Martial Arts of the Orient, Myths and Legends of the Martial Arts and The Martial Arts: Origins, Philosophy, Practice. He was also consultant editor at Fighters magazine.
