This autobiography tells the story of the life of J.E. Morpungo, a lauded man of letters, and brings alive the distinguished men and women with whom Morpungo associated. The first British graduate of William and Mary College, Morpungo enjoyed a notable career in publishing at Penguin, and he later became Director of the National Book League.
