Susan Wales is a realtor in her hometown of Pacific Palisades, California, where she lives with her husband Ken Wales, a film producer, and her daughter, Megan Chrane. Founder and former president of The Chrane Group, Inc., a management consulting firm in Atlanta, Georgia, Susan is the coauthor (with Ann Platz) of A Match Made in Heaven I & II and From This Day Forward. She is a popular speaker, a producer, and is cochairman of the UCLA Family Development Center that educates and counsels at-risk mothers.

Her love for southern elegance began in her South Carolina ancestral plantation home where her family's skill and passion for entertaining was legendary.
