Overview
In 1965, Gordon Moore predicted the exponential growth of the number of transistors per integrated circuit. Although the contributors to this volume aren't arguing that Moore's Law is directly applicable to health care, they do suggest that the increasing use and expansion of the medical utility of imaging, robotics, and informatics is constantly improving health care efficiency and availability. One hundrend and nine papers are presented that explore the uses of these technologies in a range of clinical contexts, particularly focusing on the uses of computer simulation. Annotation c.
