It's Christmas Eve, and both Melrose and Croc are all alone in the city. They dream of a wonderful Christmas but feel sad when there is no one to share it with. It might have been their loneliest holiday ever, if not for a collision with fate. Could this be the beginning of a magical Christmas, and the start of a cherished friendship?
Publishers Weekly
Christmas just isn't Christmas without someone to share it with. At least that's how Melrose the dog feels. Croc, a crocodile visiting the city for the first time and looking for Yuletide magic, feels the same. As fate would have it, Melrose and Croc literally bump into each other in a very festive setting, striking up a friendship that makes their holiday sparkle. Clark's (the Blue Kangaroo books) sweet tale and gently humorous, heart-tugging paintings reach out to readers like a holiday hug. Ages 4-8. (Oct.) Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.
