Description:Part of the Health Reference Series, this book on men's health concerns is a reference for lay people, not those trained in medicine.
Purpose:The purpose is to provide a reference for nonmedical people who wish to research information on this topic. This is a commendable objective, but the book makes many generalizations and the information seems somewhat dated.
Audience:It is plainly geared to the lay population.
Features:The book is organized similar to patient education publications and provides information in short paragraphs.
Assessment:This is a nice book for civilian libraries, but it has very limited utility for medical libraries.
