Library Journal
This series does just what it says it does: it presents do-it-yourself decorative accessories projects. Each volume has three sections: before you begin, which describes styles, color, fabrics, and equipment; projects; and sewing techniques. The directions for each project have been designed to fit into a two-page format, which is adequate for some projects but not for other, more detailed ones, such as interlined curtains. The instructions are clearly illustrated with photographs and include a rating indicating the expertise needed. These books will be useful in public libraries because of the variety and number of projects they contain.Book Details
