About the Author, Mumia Abu-Jamal

Mumia Abu-Jamal is author of many books including Death Blossoms, Live from Death Row, We Want Freedom, and Jailhouse Lawyers. Incarcerated in 1982 and on death row for 30 years, Mumia was finally removed and placed in general population in January 2012. Outcry for his release continues to this day.
