Back then, the team was not the Twins but the Senators. The reader will also learn about the many famous players who have helped the Minnesota Twins to become a great team throughout its lengthy history. History about the team is covered briefly, such as that it won the World Series in 1924 as the Senators and again in the 1960s as the Twins. The team didn't return to the Series again until 1987. In the back of the book, the interested reader can use the glossary and "Twins Facts" section to help learn baseball terms, as well as facts about this long-standing team. The index in the back provides a quick reference; the book is indeed a great resource for young Minnesota Twins fans to read and learn about this famous team.
