After a loved one is attacked by the creature, the two step up their efforts, leading to a finale replete with shocking twists-including who the werewolf is and who is leading him-and Daisy is forced to make a series of unthinkable choices which could destroy her relationship with Ian. This richly textured tale of 19th-century London interweaves intricately imagined and historically accurate scenes with red-hot sensual interludes.
