My First Sticker Board Book series adds four new titles: My First Farm Sticker Board Book; Truck; Number; and ABC. A page of more than two dozen reusable stickers at the back of each book allows youngsters to interact with the concepts presented. A spread of "Garden fun" in ABC, for instance, highlights flowers, grass and hat, among others, and prompts children to look for a flower sticker to add to the garden. The features that set DK board and other books apart from others are evident hereβ€”crisp and sturdy white pages and excellent photographs of the items that are featured. In this book the topic learning the alphabet. The opening spread shows a young boy who is working in the kitchen. The text instructs kids to put certain stickers in certain places so they need to be able to recognize objects and their names. Since those who will enjoy this book the most probably are not yet reading, the text will need to be read to them and once they understand what to do, they can put the sticker in the right places or anywhere in the scenes that they wish. However, the purpose is to learn the correct sequence of letters in the alphabet and that alphabet runs across the bottom of each spread. The letters featured on those pages are highlighted in red. All of the objects are show with their upper and lower case letters. Part of a series that includes World, Animal, Truck, Number and Farm. Each book comes with 25 reusable stickers. Keeping them from getting lost will be the major challenge. 2003, DK Publishing,
