Overview

Veterans are entering the 21st century, and for many, Vietnam has never ended. Why do so many suffer from flashbacks, depression, rage, substance abuse, and nightmares? Author and Vietnam veteran Chuck Dean has helped thousands find peace and spiritual healing.

About the Author: In May of 1965, Chuck Dean was one of the first paratroopers of the advanced forces of the 173d Airborne Brigade deployed by President Johnson to stop Communist aggression in South Vietnam. After his tour of duty ended in 1966, he served as a drill sergeant for two years. Currently, Chuck is the national chaplain for the 173d Airborne Brigade Society. From 1987 to 1992 he served as the international director of Point Man Ministries, a veterans-for-veterans support organization.

Editorials

Charles Edgren

Nam Vet is an intensely personal book in which Dean bares his life and soul. Because of that, it is one of the more practical, helpful and timely books to hit the shelves in the past few years.
