Laura Lee is a freelance writer, journalist, and former radio announcer. As a radio announcer, she began collecting questions for a trivia segment. One day she discovered that a real person inspired the title character of Alice in Wonderland . That piqued her interest and she wondered about the origins of the names of other characters and products. She continued to collect trivia of that nature and compiled it into this book's predecessor.
