The book is dominated by pictures, featuring at least one image on nearly every page, and yet manages to provide an overview of all 22 NASCAR racetracks as well as the sport's top cars and drivers. Fortunately, the book doesn't stray into many technical details and instead, consistently focuses on the elemental appeal that NASCAR has for its fans. To this end, other chapters in the book include everything from a look at NASCAR's origins and famous rivalries between drivers to pop quizzes and trivia. While obviously designed for fans, this book is easy to read and accessible enough to attract the interest of even newcomers to stock car racing.
