This second in the series of monographs (the first was Neoplasms with Eccrine Differentiation, 1990) overcomes the hazards of incomprehensible terminology and illogical classifications by making each proliferation with follicular differentiation diagnosable, definable, and understandable to colleagues who seek to learn about them. Each chapter has five major divisions: historical perspective, clinical features, histopathologic findings, histopathologic differential diagnosis, and commentary. A list of references is provided in each chapter for comparison with the observations and conclusions of others who have written about the same matters. Thoroughly illustrated in b&w (with every proliferation pictured histopathologically in the volume shown first at scanning magnification). Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
