Overview

Description: Two neurologists who had been deeply influenced by Norman Geschwind selected some of his greatest works on language, neurobehavior, and epilepsy to appear in this collection. These fascinating original articles spanning the years 1962-1985 are reproduced with brief introductions by the co-editors.
Purpose: Pioneering works of Dr. Norman Geschwind which exemplify the impact of his creative genius on the chronological development of behavioral neurology as a emergent discipline in contemporary American neurology are presented here.
