About the Author, Allen de Hart

Allen de Hart has been hiking, designing, constructing, and writing about North Carolina's trails for more than 60 years. He has authored eight books and trail guides for West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, and the sea islands of Georgia.
