Synopsis

In the final book of this popular spy series. Someone trapped deep (and we do mean deep) inside Viper's organization is trying to contact Team Spy Gear but is having a devil of a time doing so because the kids are checking out a seemingly normal suburban house where odd things are happening--a house that must be spied on.

Children's Literature

The Omega Operative is the sixth book in the "SPYGEAR Adventures." In the town of Carrolton there lives a group of kids who call themselves Team Spy Gear. A mysterious caller inside Viper's organization is trying to contact Team Spy Gear but so far has been unable to do so. A lot of strange things are happening in Carrolton. The Stoneship Woods are off limits to everyone in town because of a supposed problem with diseased mosquitoes. Armed men are keeping everyone away from the Woods. The Team Spy Gear knows this story is not true. In trying to solve this mystery in the woods, they find themselves dealing with a black squid-monster, the Wolf Pack, a Slog (which is dog like or maybe cat like, the kids are not sure which), and a strange boy from outer space who has possessed Lexi's body. The Team's job is to try to save the world from being invaded by aliens, with help from Marco, Mr. Latimer, Dr. Tim, and the mysterious boy in Lexi's body. The author continually refers back to previous events in earlier books. Since this is an on going story, it would be best for those reading this series to start with the first book and move forward to insure the best understanding of the entire series.
