Opening Doors provides practical methods developed over many years of experience for bringing consensus to business group discussions, cutting to the essence of an issue, and dealing with a multitude of communication problems. The author presents effective techniques for facilitation from the beginning of preparation through the creation of the meeting environment, to the actual carrying out of meetings in the modern business world. He details the nature of a facilitator, or a leader who stimulates conversation and referees controversy in order to make meetings as productive and as efficient as possible. In addition, he develops this strategy of facilitation in relation to the utilization of computers and modern technological advances.

Author Biography: Theodore L. Kowalski is a Data Architect with AIM Management group and is vice president of the Houston chapter of the Data Administration Management Association.
