Overview

The Ouvertures program is content based where cultural themes serve as the unifying element within each chapter. Culture is integrated into the teaching of every skill; speech acts, grammar, listening, reading, and writing skills provide the basis for the acquisition of knowledge and understanding of francophone culture. Language is used as a tool to explore the cultures of the French-speaking world with this complete one volume intermediate French program.
