In this work, designed as a creative outlet for the sewing-impaired or the unwilling, Lose uses ready-made sweatshirts that he embellishes with fabric paints and with fusible webbing appliqus. Many of the designs include seasonal themes and are suitable for either children or adults. The quality and wit of the designs set them apart from those found in popular magazines. To put it delicately, these are sweatshirts one would not be embarrassed to wear in public. One caveat: brand-specific information on fabric paints and fusible webbing would have made the supply lists more useful to the rank beginner. This book will rarely languish on the shelves in public libraries.Book Details
