Editorials

School Library Journal

Gr 2-5-- An attractive volume that explores the value of peaceful resolution of problems. Nicely arranged in short, readable chapters, and accompanied by plenty of good-quality full-color photographs, the book introduces some famous people who used nonviolent protest to promote change, discusses resolving conflicts, and suggests ways that young people can become peacemakers. The final chapter offers addresses of relevant organizations. The tone is positive; the writing is clear and straightforward. A worthwhile book on a subject for which little is available at this level. --Marilyn Long Graham, Lee County Lib . System, Fort Myers, FL
