Synopsis

Haroomkek''s pod has run into nothing but trouble and they know who to blame - the land-dwellers! They have even taken Haroomkek''s best friend captive. The whales stage a demonstration by beaching themselves in protest, but in the chaos and confusion, Haroomkek is separated from the pod. Facing the dangers of the open ocean alone, he resolves to approach the humans himself - with unexpected results! Much mystery surrounds our cousins living in the open ocean. Many times their behaviors seem inexplicable to us of the land, yet their brains are as big as ours, or bigger. What deep thoughts must be going on beneath the waves? Do they understand what is happening to our modern world, possibly even better than we do? This is a fanciful yet serious look at what they must be thinking, and what they might do about the problems of the day.
