About the Author, Gary M. Ingersoll

Gary M. Ingersoll is a Professor of Counseling and Educational Psychology in the Indiana University School of Education. He also holds the title of Professor of Pediatrics in the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dale P. Scannell is professor emeritus from Indiana University. Prior to that Scannell was dean of education at the University of Kansas and the University of Maryland at College Park and Lester Professor of Education at the University of South Carolina.
