Synopsis
This text describes exercise physiology for the human organism both in health and illness, with chapters on neural control of movement, neuropathies of the nervous system, skeletal muscle structure and function, muscle plasticity, muscular diseases, the pulmonary system and its diseases, the cardiovascular system and its disease, pediatrics, and aging.
