Overview
PEXlib: A Tutorial will help you learn to program with PEXlib. PEX concepts are taught by presenting working, well-tested example programs. This tutorial is divided into fourteen chapters covering topics such as colors, lighting, shading, rendering, modeling, clipping, viewing, animation, namesets, picking and searching. A preview of PEX 6.0 is presented in Appendix A. Additional appendices cover extensions to PEX, color models, and the PEXwave program. All the code contained in the tutorial is freely available via FTP and is known to work on a wide variety of platforms.A tutorial designed to help application developers over the first hurdles of PEXlib programming.
