About the Author, John M. Kane

John M. Kane, M.D., is Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Hillside Hospital, a division of Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He currently directs the NIMH-funded Clinical Research Center for the Study of Schizophrenia at the Hillside Hospital division of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Glen Oaks, New York.
