Synopsis

Acclaimed as one of "the greatest literary masterpieces in the world," this allegory captivates the reader's attention while providing insight into the Christian life. Join Bunyan as he tells the story of one man's pilgrimage from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City whose builder and maker is God.

About the Author, Bunyan

John Bunyan (1628-1688) was a Baptist preacher and has become one of the most well known Christian authors in history. The doubts, temptations, and hopes of his own spiritual journey were put on paper making him the highly successful author of "The Pilgrim's Progress", which has been translated into more languages than any book except the Bible. Dan Larsen is a freelance writer from Spencer, New York. His previous work in the Young Reader's Christian Library series includes retellings of "In His Steps," "Ben-Hur," and "Robinson Crusoe."
