About the Author, Pamela Mordecai

Mordecai was born in Jamaica and wrote her first poem when she was nine. A prolific writer of poems, short stories, and literary criticism, she recently had a play "El Numero Uno or the Pig from Lopinot" commissioned by Toronto's Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People. She holds a PhD in English from the University of the West Indies.
