PreS--Each of these books explores a topic familiar to most preschoolers. My Family considers how families of various configurations interact and care for one another. My Playground depicts familiar equipment and activities. Huszar's full-color photographs support the concepts and have a good multicultural representation. The small format will be easy for children to handle but restricts possibilities for group sharing. Debbie Bailey has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, a B.Ed., and an M.A. in Applied Psychology. Her interest in board books developed when she began reading to her daughter. Debbie teaches kindergarten.

Sue Huszar has worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years. She started out as a photojournalist but went on to establish her own studio.
