Synopsis

Demonstrating how ideas are in short supply and critical thinking is under attack in the present day, this unique study pits the author’s brand of humor and intellect against conservative power brokers. Arguing the notion that free thought—not free trade—is the basis of democracy, these exciting and provocative essays engage with the most contentious issues of today.
