Overview
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, was formed to prevent attacks on military information systems. This two-volume proceedings set contains 108 papers (many are short summaries of research) presented at the third of these conferences, held April 2003, in Washington, DC, by contributors who carry out research for private companies or universities, mainly in the US. The papers are grouped into subjects that include composable high assurance trusted systems, cyber issues, dynamic coalitions, fault tolerant networking, organic and survivable information systems, and operational experimentation.
