About the Author, Alex Galis

Alex Galis is a visiting professor at University College, London, U.K. He is the author and editor of more than 50 articles and reports on telecommunications technology. Spyros Denazis is a senior researcher with Hitachi Europe, where he is a project leader of Future Active IP Networks (FAIN) research. The author and coauthor of more than 20 scientific papers, he holds a Ph.D. in computer science form the University of Bradford, U.K. Célestin Brou is a senior researcher at the Fraunhofer Society for the Advancement of Applied Research, Berlin, Germany. A member of the FAIN project, he has been investigating a routing on demand protocol. He earned his M.S. at The French National Research Institute INRIA-Rocquencourt. Cornel Klein is employed by Siemens AG, where he works on strategic product planning for information and communications networks. He received his Ph.D. from the Munich Institute of Technology, Germany.
