Overview
Sue Edwards’s Bible studies provide women with resources for enriching personal Bible study and meaningful group discussion. Each book in the series provides three levels of study, allowing participants to choose a level of Bible study that works for them. From basic Scripture understanding with a minimal time commitment to advanced study options, the studies provide week-to-week flexibility.
In Proverbs, Volume 2, readers will discover more of the timeless life lessons contained within the proverbs. Sue Edwards teaches readers what these biblical pearls of wisdom say about daily life, our relationship to our culture, and our relationships with others. Throughout this nine-week study, Edwards guides women as they discover the wisdom of God that is revealed to all readers in all times, and how we can live in the light of God’s truth.
Included in Proverbs, Volume 2:
- Access to free online audio introduction and lectures from Sue Edwards and other speakers
- A leader’s guide which includes activity ideas, discussion topics for each lesson, and troubleshooting advice
- A training guide for small–group leaders
“This study of every-day wisdom from Proverbs drew the women back each week with an excitement we had not seen before. Life changing convictions became the norm as we worked through the material together.”

Synopsis
As author Sue Edwards describes them, the proverbs are principles that are true in general terms. They are short, pithy sayings that are pregnant with meaning. In this meaningful devotional, women's ministry leader Sue Edwards helps readers decipher biblical pearls of wisdom and learn timeless life lessons. To do this, she guides readers as they look at the proverbs on their own terms, studying their structure, and how the author intended readers to approach them. In this eight-week Bible study, women will learn what the proverbs say about daily life, how they apply to modern times, and how they reveal the wisdom of God for all readers. Includes a leader's guide in the back.
