Marilyn Courtot - Children's Literature

In this bilingual board book featuring the Rainbow Fish, kids will learn to count from one to ten in English and Spanish. They will also learn the names of a variety of sea life, also in both languages—four shells/cuatro conchas marinas, eight turtles/ocho tortugas. Each scene shows the Arabic numeral, text, and appropriate number of creatures to encourage and reinforce counting. However, at the end we come back to one because there is only "one glittering Rainbow Fish!" A useful book for Spanish speaking kids who want to learn English, and useful for their caregivers too. 2005, North-South Books, Ages 2 to 5.
