These titles feature beautiful, detailed, close-up photos of animals displayed on child-friendly page layouts. The information is well organized for reports, beginning with a double-page picture of the animal with body parts labeled and described. The topics are the same in each book: "Birth and Growing Up," "Habitat," "Food," "Finding a Mate," "Threats," and life cycles. Each page contains one or more pictures and additional information in captions and a fact box. One page suggests clues to help children locate the animal, e.g., droppings and footprints.
