Beach won numerous horse show ribbons, was well known as a teacher of riding and driving to women and children, and was revered by horse people of her time. Beach originally published "Riding and Driving for Women" in 1912, and addressed such topics as form, mounting, and attire, and covered "the most important points gleaned in my career as a horse-lover and professional horsewoman." Over 100 photographs and drawings illustrate the work.
