About the Author, Suzanne Cameron Linder

Dr. Suzanne Cameron Linder was educated at Converse College and Wake Forest University and received her doctorate in history at the University of South Carolina where she is a research fellow in the Institute for Southern Studies. She is the author of numerous books and articles in scholarly publications. Her published works on South Carolina include Historical Atlas of the Rice Plantations of the ACE Basin, Medicine in Marlboro County, 1736-1980 and Anglican Churches in Colonial South Carolina. She resides in Columbia, South Carolina.
