Overview
River Of Colour is a series of vibrant photographs by documentary photographer Raghubir Singh that capture the beautiful colors, exuberant spirit and restless activity of India, his native country. This is the only published retrospective of Singh (1942-99), which also includes an introductory essay by Singh himself, focusing on the importance of color in India. The book is arranged in 11 thematic sections that depict aspects integral to Indian life, including the street, monuments, icons, water and pilgrimages.
