Overview

Professional traveler Jamie Jensen traveled more than 400,000 miles to bring you the best-selling travel guide Road Trip USA. In this focused tour of the Atlantic Coast, Jensen highlights major cities, obscure towns, popular attractions, roadside curiosities, historic sites, and oddball trivia. Starting at the Statue of Liberty and winding up at free-wheeling Key West, these almost two thousand miles of two-lane country roads run within earshot—if not sight—of the Atlantic Ocean.

Exit the interstates and create your own seaside driving adventures with Road Trip USA Atlantic Coast.

About the Author, Jamie Jensen

Jamie Jensen grew up in Southern California, back when freeways were new, cheeseburgers cost a quarter, and every beach had a beachfront amusement park. After wasting his early 20s bumming around the country, making hay in Kansas and ghost-writing a book for the Grateful Dead, in 1990 Jamie set to work researching and writing Road Trip USA. Since then he's traveled more than 400,000 miles in search of the perfect stretch of two-lane blacktop, but when not criss-crossing the country by car he rides his bike whenever possible. Jamie lives with his wife Catherine and twin boys Tom and Alex in Davis, California, near the west end of US-50.
