About the Author, Jr Ed Frederick Ryan

Frederick J. Ryam, Jr., is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation. He served in the White House as Assistant to the President and later as Chief to Staff to former President Reagan. He is presently Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Allbritton Communications Company, a television, cable, and Internet company. He resides in the Washington, D.C., area with his wife, Genevieve, and their daughters, Genevieve, Madeline and Caroline.
