From Barnes & Noble
The Barnes & Noble ReviewSamba services can save you a bundle, but deploying them requires significant knowledge. The best way to get it: Walk through real-world scenarios and config files, one step at a time. That’s what this book does. Your guide, Samba Team member John Terpstra, knows Samba inside and out. Chances are, he’s covered exactly what you need to deploy.
Want to get Samba running instantly in a small work group? Set up user groups? Provide domain logons? Roaming profiles? Replace an old NT box? All here, but that’s just the start.
You’ll configure Samba services for a 500-user company; then a 2,000-user company with locations worldwide. You’ll migrate from Active Directory to a pure Kerberos solution. You’ll even integrate Samba into a Windows Server 2003 environment. Bet you haven’t seen that done before. Bill Camarda
