Gr 2-5-Although nicely formatted, the information in these books is sketchy at best. The basic report fodder is here, but anything beyond that is a bit vague, if not misleading. Each chapter spread contains two to four large-type paragraphs and black-and-white or full-color photos or reproductions. Boxed texts appear throughout. Reading both the picture captions and the sidebars is often essential to understanding the texts.
