Is there a place for dating in our spiritual lives? Is there room in a religious journey for committed relationships that don't lead to marriage? Far from distracting or sacrilegious, can dating even be... Christian? Religion has usually been either silent or negative about these questions. But we say it's time to take dating out of the shadows. After exploring the topic with friends who struggle with dating, listening to the dating escapades of our students, and talking to each other for hours about our own particular relationships, we realized that we had something to say about this issue. In our discussions about dating and spirituality, we tell stories, ask questions, and explore books and movies for answers and examples. We make fun of each other and promise to tell it like it is. Most of all, we invite and challenge you, the reader, to join us in the conversation, to laugh with us and struggle with such a timely and important topic: understanding the relationship between the spiritual life and the dating life.Book Details
